How Rolento joined the Tourney

Rolento made his first appearance as fourth stage's boss in the original Final Fight. According to his original backstory, Rolento is a former member of the special forces unit, the Red Berets, explaining his military appearance and skills. He was put in charge of the gang's secret armory-producing plants in Metro City's industrial area and has great influence.

Special Attacks

Patriot Circle (Neutral)

Rolento steps forward and twirls his club in front of him. The motion can be performed up to three times in a row, with Rolento holding it at different angles each time. It has a maximum of 11 hits.

Mekong Delta Escape (Side)

Rolento jumps backwards, away from the opponent and toward the edge of the screen. When he reaches the edge of the screen, he kick-jumps away from it.

Stinger (Up)

Rolento leaps vertically upwards, knives in hand. If the button is pressed while he is airborne, he tosses one knife down on a downwards angle.

Mekong Delta Air-Raid (Down)

the attack begins simply with Rolento rolling backwards. If another button is pressed before Rolento finishes rolling, he will launch himself forward into the air and swing his club downward as the jump arcs back down.

Take no Prisoners (Hyper Smash)

Rolento will reach down and pull up a tripwire hidden in the ground, which he presumably buried earlier. The wire will emerge from the ground in a line straight forward. At the same time, Rolento's henchman El Gado will appear near the top of the screen holding a hook. If the opponent is standing on the tripwire and does not block low, they will be entangled in it. Rolento will then hop up and hang his end of the wire on the hook. As he pulls on it, the opponent will be lifted upside-down to the hook, and dropped down hardly.

Patriot Sweeper (Final Smash)

Based on his Street Fighter X Tekken's Super Art, Rolento first does the Patriot Circle three times, then jumps backwards, before he tosses 4 grenades and explodes on contact, the Opponent's Star KO can be heard.
